Our story

Nearly 50 years in Elko

Elko Overhead Door has been installing and repairing garage doors in Elko since 1977. We're locally owned and operated, run today by Patrick Pemelton and Sam Pemelton, and our shop sits at 1076 River St in town.

We're a small, hands-on team, not a corporate operation. The people who give you the estimate are the people who stand behind the work. Over the decades we've built long-term relationships with homeowners, builders and business owners across the area, and a lot of them call us year after year because they know who's going to show up.

Our work covers both sides of the trade. For homes, that means garage door service and repair, replacement doors, new installs, openers and troubleshooting. For businesses, it means commercial and industrial overhead doors on new construction and replacement projects. On every job we help customers choose the right door and products for how they'll use them, with Clopay as our main door line.

We're still growing. We keep improving how we schedule and communicate, and we're expanding the team so we can keep up with Elko County. What hasn't changed is how we work: a clear estimate, a straight answer on cost and timeline, and a door done right.
